Out of the five competitive games played so far, they can only boast of a win and now face an uphill task to progress at the expense of the Moroccan giants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meanwhile, the NPFL champions have not been approved to travel to Casablanca by the Moroccan authorities as of the time of writing, and that thus makes it more difficult for them to progress.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nonetheless, Wydad remain on course to reach the final four at the expense of the Nigerian side.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Wydad AC vs Enyimba team news<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The coach of Enyimba, Finidi George, is optimistic his boys can overturn the deficit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201dFootball is about goal scoring; if we had scored, the overall result would have been different,\u201d Finidi said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIn a couple of days, we will have the return leg. I\u2019m happy that in as much as we want to win the game, I\u2019m happy that we lost by just 1-0, which gives us another opportunity to go over there and see if we can.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIf we have the same opportunities that we got here, if we can take one or two it\u2019s going to be a different ball game.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI\u2019m quite optimistic about the second leg, but it\u2019s unfortunate that we lost the first leg.\u201d the former Super Eagles forward said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the other hand, Wydad Casablanca Coach Adil Ramzi has refused to rule out a fightback from Enyimba FC in their Africa Football League quarter-final fixture.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIt\u2019s a match with two periods,\u201d Wydad Coach Ramzi said, as per Le Martin.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI\u2019m happy with the result, especially since we scored and didn\u2019t concede. Enyimba is a good team and we will have to concentrate in Casablanca during the return match. Matches only end with the referee\u2019s whistle.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enyimba are expected to miss the services of vice-captain Somiari Alalibo who was sent off late in the game on Sunday. However, Pascal Eze could be sent on in his place, while Ikenna Cooper could be handed a start in the midfield in Casablanca.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The second leg is billed for Stade Mohamed V in Casablanca on Wednesday and kick-off is 7 PM (Nigerian time).
