After a triumphant Women's World Cup campaign that saw them advance to the knockout stages and secure a commendable 10th place in the FIFA rankings<\/a> of the best national teams, the Super Falcons are now gearing up for their next continental challenge.<\/p>\n

On Friday, September 22nd, at Onikan Stadium, they are set to face the Sao Tom\u00e9 and Principe Women's National Football Team in the first leg of the Women's Africa Cup of Nations qualification.<\/p>\n

The Super Falcons, who have an illustrious history as 11-time Women's AFCON champions, are determined to pursue their 12th title and continue their legacy of excellence in African women's football.<\/p>\n

The next edition of the Women\u2019s Africa Cup of Nations will hold in Morocco in 2024 and the qualifiers will begin at the upcoming women\u2019s international break.<\/p>\n
